Vermont Creative Software
Vermont Creative Software specialises in the creation and support of programming tools for professional programmers. They were founded in 1984 to market the software that they develop. The first product was Windows for C and was released in January 1984, making it among the earliest third-party library for C programmers. Windows for C evolved into Windows for Data and then into Vermont Views, a complete development system for creating user interfaces portable among DOS, UNIX, VMS and other related operating systems. Ghost was their first software testing tool and was released in 1991. Ghost went through several generations of development and name revisions, emerging in 1994 as Vermont Test. Vermont HighTest, an automated software testing tool for Windows applications was released in 1993.
